You'll enjoy the right movie ;) especially since they have halfed ticket prices now. Seating In both regular and vip are good. Sweets/popcorn and drinks are not "too" expensive.

Nice staff. Rode there on bike which the nice guy put it in a locked cupboard

Southport Dramatic Club

Wonderful production of My Fair Lady.

Great retail park! Very tidy and has a good variety of restaurants, from Chinese buffet to Frankie and Bennys! There is also a Premier Inn linked with an adjacent Brewers Fayre pub. You can also grab a great game of bowling and laser quest here to. Would definitely recommend visiting here!

I love coming here on a weekend or even a sunny day if there is one. There is so many things to do within a 5 minute walk of each other wether it be go the movies, have a bite to eat, shop, ride the boats or even go the beach. Only downside is the car park is always full.

Theatres for Southport

Southport Theatre & Convention Centre

The Promenade, Southport PR9 0DZ, UK – 01704 500036

Went to see Bill Bailey on Saturday night. Great venue. Not too big, so all seats have great views of the stage and not crazy busy when it comes to getting to the bar and the toilets during the interval. Minimal queues to get in at the start of the evening and the same at the end of the gig. Helpful and polite staff too. Will definitely pay a return visit. Parking is easy and inexpensive.

Easy to get to and large pay & display car park if on road parking full. Pre-show bar very busy and slow at times due to taking interval drinks orders (although if required that saves time). Stewards should get more involved in stopping people using phone cameras and standing up dancing ( especially in the aisles steps -- H&S breach ? ) .. not wanting to be Bah-Humbug... but when you've paid for SEATS it would be nice to be able to see the stage

Little Theatre Southport

Hoghton Street, Southport PR9 0PA, UK – 01704 530460

Enjoyable evening with friends. Watched Blackadder goes forth. Very good performance. Staff very helpful and bar very reasonably priced.

A great "Little Theatre", amateur dramatics at its best. Well worth a visit.

The Atkinson

Lord St, Southport PR8 1DB, UK – 01704 533333

Took.my daughter there for a couple of hours during our trip to Southport. It's a mix use building run by the Sefton council and houses a museum (small but with surprising contents), art gallery, and also runs theatre shows. We went to the museum bit that was free (they had a special exhibition on the Vikings for which there was a small charge but we didn't have time). It houses various artefacts from Egypt and a mummy (something we didn't expect to find here. You could also learn about the history of the area and much more. It's a good place to look around if you are visiting for longer and perhaps checkout their website to see if there is any shows on so that you could plan ahead. The building itself was gorgeous too.

Good place to visit. Go see the Viking exhibition that is on right now it is very good.
